Get out the Vote!

Many people still do not know there is a primary on June 22!  Here are four ways to help get out the vote in these critical next few weeks.

1. Phone Banking

One of the best ways to contact people and let them know that there is a primary coming up is by phone. We don’t do robo-calls, so we need your help! We have made this so much easier for you to take part and to get involved, to make a stand and to communicate to your neighbors. We will provide the scripts and the phone lists, we just need you and your passion and energy for Claudia’s campaign (and your cellphone or home phone of course!)

There are three ways to help with phone banking:

• Call any time! - If you have a spare hour or two, let us know and we can assign you a phone list and a script to follow.
• Calling blocks - We have set up three calling days per week on M,W,F from 10 am-12 noon and from 6 pm – 8 pm from wherever you are.
• Calling Parties – Host a calling party from your home on the weekends of June 12-13th and 19th-20th.

2. Vote June 22nd posters

Help us put up these great posters to remind people to vote!

You can pick them up at Campaign Headquarters at 450 S 900 E in Salt Lake or email Carl at carl.gorder@gmail.com and he will deliver or make other arrangements for what you need.

Not in SLC? Print them yourself!

The posters are the same text, letter size or half letter size and can be printed correctly on printers that will print borderless (most photo type printers will do this) This is really only important for the half size posters to cut correctly. Also, if you are going to post any outdoors, they should be xerox copies or laser prints as most inkjet prints are not water resistant.

3.  Chalk out the Vote!

One of our biggest supporters has come up with a wonderful idea to remind people to vote. He has given the campaign boxes of chalk.  The idea is to write “VOTE” on anything that is not moving (short of breaking the law), sidewalks, walls, buildings, rocks, street intersections. Wherever you can think of. We have big boxes of sidewalk chalk at the office, or you can buy your own, use up your kid’s leftovers, whatever! A fun way to remind everyone of the important date coming up.
